The Best Suisun Delta
Rising Sea Levels Links Found. How
Global Warming May Effect The Suisun Delta.
Many experts predict sea
levels will rise around three meters in 80 to 90 years from today (2014).
Factors for rising global sea
levels that will effect Suisun City:
• As the planet warms up,
the ocean water heats up. Warmer water
expands, pushing up sea levels.
• Perhaps 5% of sea
level rises come from people using ground water, that later ends up in the
oceans.
• Melting snow from
Greenland and Antarctica. It’s said if they completely melt that sea levels may
go up 65 meters.
• There are other
interesting factors.
