Looking at the Suisun Walmart as an example. Walmart is expected to bring a whopping $500,000.00 to $800,000.00 just in taxes. Also with more people working in Walmart (about 350 new employees) more employees will shop in other Suisun stores. Plus visitors to the Suisun Walmart will also dine and shop elsewhere in Suisun.
Interesting Suisun Walmart Studies: Depending on the poll, about 75% of Suisun voters are pro Walmart. Currently Suisun loses 70% of its tax revenue when Suisun shoppers shop outside Suisun.
That's why mayor Pete Sanchez, and city councilwoman Jane Day are probably going to win. The 2nd city council seat will probably go to Don Spering or Mike Hudson. Pete, Jane, Don and Mike are all entrepreneurs - and that's what Suisun needs to create more jobs.
